Used this to support the Weathervane on top of her 4x4 Bottle tree. Easy to install, well built and works well with the weathervane. The tree is still a work in progress, but it's well worth the time and expense to do this rather than try to fabricate something.

Needed a bracquet for a weathervain. This one is heavy duty and holds the weathervain securely in high winds.

Mounted this on top of a gazebo right by our pool. Does not come with screws but easily handled at hardware store. Easy installation. Very solid!

The listed dimensions of the base are 3" x 3". So, I assumed it would fit nicely on my 4" x 4" post that has actual dimensions of 3 1/2" x 3 1/2". Wrong, the base is 3 5/8" x 3 5/8". So, the edges of the base hang over the post. Not a tidy looking installation. I have no idea why the maker didn't design the product for a standard 4" x 4" post. Even worse, they don't list the correct dimension in the product description. Aside from the incorrect size, the product is nice looking and sturdy.
