This leather strap worked great for my needs. Durable and has held up through use in my products. Length is good. I'll need to order more for my crafts. Deep brown color is exactly what my customers wanted, they'll probably go for black too.

Good grade of leather for making a leash for my Chihuahua. Strong enough for a small dog and light enough.Draw back would be the stiffness. That should soften over time, but a little harder to work with. Oiled is probably the worst part. Difficult to sew when it's sliding around. Overall good value for the price though.

I purchased both of these leather strips from Georgecraft. Both are supposed to be 8 mm, 5.5 yards in length. The dark brown is only 5 yards and the black is only 4 yards minus a few inches. They were both held together with a very sticky tape that left a sticky residue all over the letter rendering it useless. This leather is definitely not worth the price and is a very poor quality. It smells horrible also. Additionally, as I unrolled them to measure them, I noticed that they are actually a lot of small strips attached together somehow so I’m concerned that it would all fall apart if I were even able to use it. What a waste.

Good quality leather, I use for binding Native American Flutes. Looks great and is strong enough to pull tight.

I like the fact that the edges are darker brown. It looks great-- kind of aged. Good strong lacing!
