I usually don’t leave reviews, but I love this thing. I’m around 6â€1, 200 pounds and it fits perfectly. Seems very sturdy and high quality. Lifetime guarantee too. If you’re serious about rucking, just go with this. Stick with it and it’s cheaper in the long run.

Up your step game with some weight on your back. I’ve had my GoRuck 25L for over a month and it’s a beast. I use it daily. Supercool veteran owned company, top notch craftsmanship, and excellent customer service. Highly recommended!

Quality and craftsmanship were immediately recognizable. My rucks have been completely improved since I switched from my old backpack. It's better than I expected and I was expecting it to be great. Immediately ordered the hydration bladder, hose clip and s-clip from their website. Would have bought the bag directly from them but I had the points so might as well get it free. I bought the 30# plate with it and it fits great. I used a 5# regular barbell plate to increase the weight and it fit perfectly in the other pocket with zero movement or issues. Looking forward to logging some serious miles with this baby!

Super impressed with the quality of the Rucker. Excellent pack for 20 to 30lbs! 20L is very comfortable for 5’10 person at 160lbs

I don't have a problem with this pack being made in Vietnam. I do have a problem with Goruck obfuscating that fact. They are really playing the veteran owned, USA angle hard. The truth is that only one of their packs, the GR-1 is US made, and it costs $100 more. One star deducted. The strap system on this pack is just terrible. Packs built at this price point generally have smooth adjustable straps at both the waist and the shoulders. Modern straps are designed to cinch in a reverse pull. This allows easy balancing of the load. Adjusting the weigh distribution on the 4.0 on the fly is virtually impossible. I bought the waist belt for heavy rucks, but It is mostly useless because you cannot properly load it. The sternum strap is equally problematic. Many people, including the company owner, do not even use it. Now I see why. The strap system on the 4.0 is typical of a $30 pack. I've been backpacking for over 50 years, so I know what I'm talking about. On the plus side, the pack IS very sturdy. The straps are very wide set, which puts the load on the deltoids, not the traps. The plate storage scheme is very good. The zippers are robust and smooth. The pack should hold up to a lot of daily abuse. Given the price though, I would mark it as a poor value overall. $150 is more in line. I'm going to keep it as a daily beater plate carrier. My rucking sessions are usually an hour or less. I would not carry this pack for hours or days under any circumstance.

This is as good/better than advertised. The materials are really top notch and my only regret is that I didn’t order one earlier.
