The splash hoop is fun for all ages! It has a wide base so it won't tip over. The hoop is inflatable with no hard corners. We used this hoop indoors and outdoors in the pool. It comes with two good quality basketballs and a ball pump. Highly recommended!

-They were thoughtful enough to include a pump for the balls. The pump does *not* work for the goal - you have to use a larger pump or blow up manually. It took me about 2 minutes, not bad.-The goal part is normal thickness, which is to say it's not very thick, beach ball thickness. It's fine, but don't expect high end durability. It does come with a couple patches.-The basketballs are actually quite good quality. They can be used in the pool and for general sports.-Three criticisms:-First, they could have easily made this into multiple games with little or no added cost. For example, check out WILBEST brand, it's essentially the same toy, for the same price, but they put side holes on there so you can have multiple games.-Second, when you make a basket, the ball bounces out of the goal and sometimes out of the pool. This could easily be remedied with a better design.-Third, the price - I see more versatile units for less.

This could be fun... BUT it is too big. There is too much air at the bottom of the hoop, while it gives it a sturdy base, its hard to see the hoop at the top. I'm 5'9 and have difficulty at times seeing the hole to shoot into. The balls are great and honestly we just used those instead of the actual hoop/net. We have still enjoyed it.Disclaimer to add, we have an above ground pool. If you are an adult, in a shallowed ended pool, it might be a different situation. However, children would still be in the same position.

This set has two very bouncy basketball-like balls that can easily be gripped in one hand by most adults. The balls have a great tactile feel. The floating hoop makes a fun moving target. My biggest beef with this set is that the mouth of the inflation hole in the hoop is too wide for most pumps. I had to order a special pump with a wide adapter in order to inflate this. It's too wide for blowing up orally- which we did try. All in all though, this is a fun pool toy that can be enjoyed by all ages.
