The first time I used my Graco airless sprayer, I was constantly fighting the stiffness of the hose. It was constantly trying to rotate my spray gun away from the direction I was trying to point it. I added this swivel to the hose where it attaches to the gun and the problem was resolved. The hose no longer tried to twist the spray gun in my hand. It's not cheap, but for me the increased ease of use was worth the money spent. Some reviews mentioned the swivel not moving properly or leaking. I had no such problems. I tightened it with a wrench when I installed it and it never leaked a drop. The swivel had some resistance to it and it did not flop around freely, but it did allow the gun to rotate without interference from the hose. It worked exactly as intended.

The joint swivels easily. I did not have any of the stiffness problems described in another review. No leaks. Works perfectly.

Not too much to say about this little guy except you will be much happier when you have one of these on each end of your hose (or have a gun with built-in swivel). This is a design that doesn't leak and I had zero problems with it. Highly recommended item for any sprayer.

New out of box. Bolted to graco gun and hose. Leaked within seconds. Removed and went about my day. Bummer.

Well, it does swivel, but not freely enough to work effectively. I still have to grab the hose below this swivel joint with one hand and then man-handle the sprayer unit to force kinks out of the line. If you have an extender on the spray tip, this can be very awkward to do and because of the high-pressure of these systems, could be a bit of risky maneuver to those around you. While spraying, the hose will still easily kink as you move around. Is it worth the money, probably. It is better than no swivel at all.
