I was frustrated at first because this is not an adhesive tape. It was recommended in a fruit tree grafting group I'm apart of so I got it to give it a try. First round of grafts failed and I thought it was the tape. After practice and research I found it was the way I wrapped the graft. Second round of grafts the scions took and were putting off growth within the week. I found after practice the tape became easy to use and it preformed well, holding up to the elements with ease. I like that it comes with two options, best value I've found and it works well!

Used as a replacement for parafilm. It seems to work fine, though it may not allow gas exchange or breathe as well as parafilm. Easy to use, clean, and well worth the price. It has no adhesive however it grabs onto petris/itself when stretched. Think heavy saran wrap in a small roll. I was extremely happy with results. Worked great for grafting/sealing a broken plant stem as well. Good stuff.

I feel like this is just a tiny roll of the plastic wrap you would use to cover food on a plate. It is not sticky at all, and was very difficult for me to use by myself. It kept getting all twisted up when I was using it on my tree (probably a self error). I'm new to graphing and tree care, so I am learning as I go. Maybe that's how it is supposed to be? I just know that it didn't stay on very well, and there was a piece left dangling, which I had to use another product to strengthen it.

So I bought this for holding my vining flowers up in my greenhouse. It worked great, no complaints. Then I moved... no more greenhouse and I have no use for this currently. It's been sitting in my gardening supplies. Today I finally put away Christmas, and realized that our wrapping paper is a disaster. I went through the old, shredding ones and cut off the crappy parts. I looked at the taped down paper and it suddenly came to me- the gardening tape!!! It absolutely drives me crazy how scotch tape rips the edges of paper, but if you don't tape it then it's open and flapping and messy. I cut a piece of this and and swooped it around the roll a couple of times, overlapping upon itself... and holy cow, it's perfection. No more tape tearing the paper with scotch tape. Just unwind the garden tape when you need the wrapping paper! So, yeah, this was a random review, but I'm here to tell you that it's a multipurpose wonder for ridiculously cheap.

Hard to put on and splice graft a plant with. Feels like buying overpriced ceramic wrapper.

High winds split in two a large branch of my 50 year old Rose of Shannon bush. The split did not break the limb completely off. With a friend, I was able to push the two sides of the split together and wrap the branch tightly with Hainanstry Grafting Tape, binding the split branch together. We tied ropes around the sturdier part of the branch and connected them to a large tree nearby, securing the branch from waving in the winds. Having used this brand of tape before, I know within three months the branch will be bonded together naturally and I can remove the ropes and what is left of the tape. Top notch product.

This is exactly what I was looking for, a tape that would stick to the branches and be waterproof at the same time. Also holds the branches together with the repair and wax.

Works well, but I think that a narrower width would make application easier
