They work great and light up everything, but think about that before replacing the one above the bed. Its a very bright light to have on when in bed or as you last light of the night. Haven't had any issues with burnouts yet

I can see! Wow, I loved how bright these are in my camper. I had 6 filament bulbs to replace, these LEDs were a great choice.

I purchased and installed 2 x 10 sets in my 5th wheel. (10 dual light fixtures) WOW, for ten yrs. I've waited for the correct "temperature" LED lighting. I chose the mid-range (3500-4000K) so that I could get more light, at a more natural light "band", while reducing the power (current) needed for the ceiling lights. In my 38 ft 5th wheel I have 20 lights in 10 dual fixtures. They were drawing so much power if left them on for a while you could feel the wall switch getting warm, and the contacts were arching, trying to stick after a while. All that is solved with these led replacements. So flat, there is plenty of room to put the plastic cover on, and so much cooler there's no worry about melting the plastic socket, or the lens. The 3500-4000K lighting produces a brighter, whiter lite but not that 6000K which is in my opinion is to harsh a spectrum of light. We have much brighter light, with still the natural colors in the trailer. ONLY ONE NEGATIVE, be careful when plugging in these LED lights, they fit tightly into the fixture socket and if your not careful when plugging these in, they will try to bend at the joint between the base and the pcb holding the leds. I am very happy with these LED lights, I think you will be too.

I tested these against the incandescent in the RV already in a typical 2 lamp ceiling fixture, against a different led in a cobb style configuration. The color was good,I ordered warm white, and it was a similar warmer shade along with the others. I do not like "bright white" or other high Kelvin lights, especially for my RV where I intend to relax. The bluer the light, the more it keeps your body from relaxing.LEDs will always have worse color rendering (i.e., CRI, not the color of the light, but how well you can see all the colors of the color wheel when using the light) compared to incandescent, but these were similar to the others.I also compared brightness using a footcandle metering app on my phone left in the same location, same distance from the fixture, same colorful items next to it for color comparison. The incandescent lamps produced 36 ft candles at that exact spot. The Cobb style produced just 13. The paddle style produced 78 at the same spot. I then turned the paddle upside down for more reflection and less direct light and saw about 39 ft candles, similar to the incandescent. On a 3 lamp chandelier type fixture over the dining table, the two LEDs put similar amounts of light to the tabletop, but this one put much more to the walls. I did have to face the paddles away from the common area to keep from blinding myself when I got a straight view of them. The light pattern is a little odd on the globes, but my wife didn't notice until I pointed it out...I did not measure power, but both LEDs were significantly less draw and heat than incandescents, and if you are thinking about swapping, do it.These LEDs are in all fixtures in the living area, with units directly over beds turned upside down so that the light is more diffuse. The Cobb lights will go in storage compartments since I took too long to start a return.Edit, a year later I am still happy with these lights. None have failed, and I cannot see a difference in the ones that are used often vs ones used rarely. Still recommend these.

I have a 13 year old Trail Cruiser camper by Travel Lite.I ordered these bubs to replace old graying incandescent bulbs.I purposely replaced several bulbs side by side in 2 bulb fixtures one at a time. The new bulbs are significantly brighter.I need to replace my battery. It is weak. These bulbs on the weak battery shined very bright andat least doubled the light given off by the original bulbs. The old bulbs generated significant heat and in at leastone fixture partially melted the plastic lens cover.I could detect no heat from the new LED bulbs. As in other posts I recommend you wiggle the bulbside to side to make it easier to get into the fixture.Incandescent bulbs are about 1 1/2 inch long & 1/2 inch wide. The LED bulbs are much bigger at 2 1/4" long and 1 1/2 " wide.In all but one case they fit into the existing sockets well. The fixture over my stove was too small to contain the LED bulb properly.I was able to slide part of the bulb up into the stove hood as the LED bulb is thin and flat.As it generates no heat, I'm not concerned. The 2/3 exposed LED bulb in the stove socket generates more light that the old bulb. The seem great value and installation of all light took only a few minutes.I ordered a 20 pack and all seem to work fine.I have an old truck and plan to try these in the dome light as well.Happy Camper! Thanks!

I purchased these LED’s for my RV. They are bright and don’t emit the amount of heat an incandescent bulb does. Thus, the plastic casings do not get hot and change colour over time. Plus the draw on power is less and the price is right. The only drawback I can mention is that they reflect a stripe on everything. Refer to the photos. In my opinion, the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. When you are installing these in a trailer or mobile unit, they are a snug fit and require a bit of force to get them in.If you are looking for an inexpensive way to brighten up your place, these will do the job.

In the picture you can see the yellow light (which are the old light bulbs) in my camper and the white light (which are these ones) I replaced all my camper light bulbs with these and I love them . I much prefer the white light and the light housing does not warm up and they are way more energy efficient. My camper draws a lot less power. Plus I don't have to have so many lights on to see anything

They look like ping pong paddles and almost as bad in terms of their high profile. And they do generate a lot of heat. So be mindful where you put these. You need the space. you can sorta bend them down but even then, they may not allow you to refit the light cover (for example).

I loved that these work as replacement bulbs. They were a bit hard to install, had to really push them to fit into the socket, and awkward, as I made sure to only grip/push on the base rather than on the disk of led lights. Some seemed they would not fit, but a bit of extra effort and they clicked into the sockets. All work fine. I left some of the original RV light bulbs in one side of a couple of light fixtures to have a choice of lighting (e.g. bathroom, above sofa) as these lights are as noted, "super bright"!

I just replaced all the old bulbs in my camper with these. LEDs are a must and these bulbs are great value, very bright, energy efficient and don’t get hot. Extremely easy to install. The old bulbs were on the left in my picture and the new bulb was on the right.
