I love the quietness of this pump that efficiency of it, and the ease of putting it together and lowering it I like the weight of it. I love that it runs super quiet and it works so fast transferring my water from one thing to another tank but I don’t know if is that the measurements are way off. It is way larger than what it says And take that into consideration. If you’re trying to put it into some thing that is 6 inches width wise it will not fit. It’s closer to seven at the base with that being said I just had to use the side to cut the plastic around the top of my tank, a little bit, and cover it with flexseal tape and I’m very happy with the product other than the size being off it works incredible and it’s super super quiet

I used this pump to evacuate water from a sunken tarp over a construction hole I forgot to brace up. It was fast! It is well made and works great. I ordered a sump pump hose kit for it and that worked good too. I love it! Setup was easy, generous cord length, simple plug and run.

Worked well (with caveats) on a very green in-ground pool that looked like a pond with floating algae mats on the surface and clumps of algae on the floor! About 24k gallons of green water. The pump connectors provided required sawing out thinner portions to match the 1 1/2 " size hoses used. Also had to buy clamps (not provided) to attach or extend hoses further out to where water can run into the storm drain. Water lift needed in this pool is about 7 feet. The draining speed wasn't as good as expected and seemed to match a 1/3 horsepower Everbilt sump pump that was used once before. It took maybe 10 hours to drain 24,000 gallons in this situation. That is an estimate as draining was done in steps: running late into the night or overnight wasn't a good option. Not having a float to automatically stop the pump is helpful as many of the sump pumps with a float do not drain below 1 inch (could be 6 inches or more). They may also have a problem starting if the float triggered for reasons like the pump falling over. With this pump the water drains to under 1 inch height. Manual operation is needed for power and there is no on/off switch. But the pump really lets you know by how it sounds when the water level goes below the low limit and you need to stop. The pump is also much heavier than expected, which adds to its stability. It did not tip over unlike some other sump pumps. A length of rope was provided in the packaging to help hoist and place the pump to where it is to be located, in this case at the deep bottom draining part of the pool. One caveat is that even though the pump can drain to below 1 inch, when you stop the pump, the water in the hoses backwash into the pool. Depending on whether you can stop that from happening, the water levels can go back up more than 1 inch. In this pool case there was the need to scoop out manually something like 5-10 gallons of water (under 2 bucket fulls). But this was fine as the pump allowed first rinsing out the bottom multiple times to get rid off all collected algae clumps and some dirt. Only the third time rinse after some chemicals and a pressure wash called for some manual scooping out of the remaining water. Not sure whether this is truly a "sump pump", as fittings to anchor/install the pump to the bottom of a sump were not included or mentioned in the instructions. In the pool case the pump just sits at the bottom and is stable enough because of its weight.Overall quite happy with this product. It seems hardy and well built. It is also cost effective compared to the sump pump mentioned above. The only 'negative' part is that the 1 HP rating didn't quite seem to kick in. The pumping rate felt more like those 1/3 HP sump pumps, when using a 1 1/2 inch hose fitting.

We collect all of our rainwater, and this comes in handy to empty out the containers we store the water in. It is very silent and works so quickly to pump small or large amounts of water. We use it to empty our pool as well. If you need a pump, this is it!

I have a hot tub that needed to be drained and cleaned. Took pump out of box, hooked up electric and hose and it started to remove water. Constant water removal, but very slow. After 10 minutes a hole developed on the top of the unit where it is welded. Water shot up 10 feet in the air! I returned the unit for refund.I would not suggest buying this item as the manufacturing workmanship leaves a lot to be desired.

I needed a pump for periodic use in my pool, due to heavy rain, and a bad filler valve I had too much water & wanted to simply lower it 3". This is a quite, yet strong pump, worked as needed and arrived packed very well. 1 hp for the $100 is a good/fair price for this, can't speak to longevity, but so far, happy with purchase!
