I was making centerpieces for a Tea Party themed Brunch. I was using so many flowers in the traditional centerpieces that I decided to make a few mound ones. So of course I needed to order moss to cover the Styrofoam. Shopped Amazon, to get the best deal. I was very nervous when the small box arrived. When I started pulling out the pieces, I realized that sometimes great things do come in small packages. There was more than enough moss for my remaining centerpieces and then some. Nice smell, easy to work with to get the desired coverage. A win-win for me.

I would want to give it a 5 because it stays green and fluffy and perfect for what I wanted it for. But it smells so bad. I have it on my dining table and it’s not a good idea. Even when I move it somewhere else i still smell it. It’s an unpleasant smell. Now I have to remove it.

this moss worked perfectly for a bit of decor to my wire fairy wings and it stuck nicely and looks good but the smell was sooooo bad it was plasticy and mildewy and overall kinda gross i let it sit outside in a container for a few days and it still smelled but i just used it even though it was still kinda stinky

This is supposed to be preserved moss but it’s not. It’s artificial. It said not to get it wet. I’m assuming that’s because it’s painted green. I don’t know what it’s actually made of. It kind of looks like fabric but it falls apart when you pull it out of the bag.

I accidentally ordered a bag of real moss and it was too messy and crumbly so I came back and grabbed this one. The color and texture is similar to the real moss, minus the mess with the dirt. I’d buy it again.
