This is about my 5th shrub trimmer over the years. The other brands don't even come close to this one by Greenworks! It works perfectly, and after trimming 5 boxwood shrubs, the battery was only down one-third! I love that the batteries from our other Greenworks tools (drill, impact driver, flashlight, sander, etc.) also fit this shrubber tool! This unit feels high quality, sturdy, well-built, and ergonomic in the hand. I have arthritis in my hands and my hands didn't even hurt after this large job I just did. I highly recommend this tool!

Nice hedge trimmer. It worked very well, rarely getting stuck or jammed. It worked very quickly and cut right through pretty much any branches small, and medium size. The only time it got jammed or stuck was when i either tried cutting through to much or too big branches. The battery lasts a decent amount of time, about 1 hour or so. The charging time was about the same, about an hour&half.It would be nice if the battery charged faster, having to wait more then an hour is quite the wait in-between cutting. I do know you could get more battery's but i still feel it could be fasterOther than the batteries its a very good product and i would recommend it.

This is not the first battery operated hedge trimmer I’ve purchased, but it looked like it would be very lightweight and easy to use. Boy was I right! I let my wife try it on some Mexican heather that borders a number of our flowerbeds. After she used it for five minutes, I asked her what she thought. She turned to me with a smile and said, I guess I don’t need you anymore. We are both in our 70s and do a lot of gardening. My wife’s hands have Lost some strength. This tool is excellent.

This is a pretty nice trimmer, has plenty of power, cuts small branches with ease, I would have given it 5 stars if the extension cord didn't come unplugged all the time. Maybe putting a 12" pigtail on it so you could tie the cords together would make it better. Greenworks seems to make decent products, I have a Greenworks corded blower that works good too. I have the same issue with the cord on the blower too. I'd buy it againEdit: since I didn't read the instructions I missed the hook that you loop the cord around. The cord stays put when you route it properly. Don't forget to oil it before using, I spray the cutters with motorcycle chain lube

Seem to do the job. Not what I call a heavy duty unit but then again, that does not seem what it is intended for. The one thing I did not like was that it did not have a way to lock the trigger. My old unit had a trigger lock and that was really useful when doing extended trimming ie. did not have to continuously keep pressing the trigger. They may claim this is done for safety reasons but I dont think so as on my old unit, as soon as you press on the trigger, the lock would release.
