Drum brake did not work to well in stopping this go cart, however the new disc brake works very well. Smooth and fast stopping power

I haven't purchased this but on my yerf dog I made hand controls for the throttle and brake, this would have been so much easier.

Was a lil more difficult to install. Due to knowing it needs to be installed with an iron rod brake line. If you are to use a cable. Im sure you will not be happy with purchase. To achieve the desired ammount of brake stop power need tge steel rod.

The main brake assembly does not "slide" onto the bracket because the groove is not straight and wide enough. You could hammer it into place, or machine (grind) the slot wide enough to fit on the bracket with enough play, but a brake assembly that met the minimum requirements wouldn't need customization for basic functionality. This is a design or QA fail.

This was prefect for what I need. Had to fabricate a brace but otherwise this was prefect for my needs. It’s was cheaper than the big stores of the same product.

Break can't be adjusted to stop the kart. Too tight and it binds, while still being underpowered.. MAYBE good for a 50cc one seater... maybe..
