I bought this last year in search of a TSA friendly vice-grip style tool to throw in my travel bag. As pliers the round clamping surface was somewhat impractical compared to traditional locking pliers so it went largely forgotten. That is, until I discovered its perfect use case. I was staying in a questionable hotel and wanted to secure the door. Attaching the Micro-Grip to the night latch was the perfect security solution. Suddenly common hotel room prowling techniques like wire under the doorway to grasp the handle were impossible. Clamping the latch blocks this attack. The adjustable round shape allows for gripping uneven surfaces and helps me sleep better! It now accompanies me on every business trip. Well made and versatile product!

Bought this to hold small strings against a strong counter pull. It served that purpose admirably. It is obviously a high quality strongly built device However the locking grip range of about 1/8" is very short. I cut 1/4" off the end of the treaded bolt making the tool a little more useful as things can be clamped up to 3/8".

Great little clamps! These things are must have for test fitting 1/4 panels. Allows you to hang and fit the rear door without interfering with the door jam. A must have in any body techs toolbox!

As an automotive technician; Hydraulic trunk and engine bay hood struts tend to fail after a few years, this Micro-Grip is great for securing those struts without damaging them further.

Very well made- machined aluminum and brass and steel. Small and very strong for those tight areas. Compact so that one can use it in close quarters.

Works great for clamping patches on leather gloves that have tears in them that need the fabric glue to sit for a bunch of hours

The Grip-on locking pliers I received looks used. Lots of scratches. Does not correspond to the photos and to a brand new item. Cheap quality for a tool made in Spain. For the price I paid, I am very disappointed and I will return the item
