Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel's adult coat is coming in nicely. Her silky soft guard hairs are getting long, and in some places she's prone to matting: under her arms and ears especially.This tool is GREAT. You can slide it through the mat, then use detangling spray and a brush or comb to finish the job. HIGHLY recommend that you stay on top of this.

My puppy Maltese gets so much matting with sweaters and this literally cuts the matts so you can brush them out. Worth it!!

It’s great at breaking up mats to make them easier to brush out. However, you can’t use it if the mat is too close to the skin and tight. The blade is extremely sharp and cuts through mats like butter. Only major down side is that there’s really no way to replace the blade without replacing the whole product.

This is cheap and not worth the cost, you might as well use it as a letter opener. Not impressed with the product.

It actually works! It does, indeed, cut through my very floofy kitty’s mats easily and safely. It breaks up and diminishes the mat so I can scissor away the worst without worrying about cutting my kitty’s skin. Sometimes it even takes care of the whole mat on its own. The best thing is that kitty likes it! The pointy end - pointy enough to push through dense mats, but blunt enough to be safe - simulates grooming so she leans into it. Not only am I fixing her nasty mats, but it’s a pleasant experience for her! 10/10 recommend!

Ich bin total erstaunt das es so gut geklappt hat.Mein langhaar Kater lässt es auch zu und die dummen knoten sind super schnell und schmerzlos weg.Erfüllt seinen Zweck.Ist stabiler als ich dachte.
