This little hair rake is great. The thicker the animal fur,the wider the teeth of the rake need to be.2 long haired dogs live in our house. One dog has extremely thick, easily matted hair, with a little daily raking, she will feel cooler and lighter than she has since her puppy days.

I love this rake so much and think it is an absolute necessity when you have pets with longer hair. It does a fabulous job on my golden retriever and my Turkish angora. I bought another one so I can always have one upstairs and one downstairs so it’s handy when I need it.

My sister recommended a rake-style comber for my ratty-looking furbaby. I was skeptical that the comb would work on my fat ginger boy, but it is incredible! It glides through the coat, gently pulling out the underlayer and cutting the matted hair as it goes. It's also easy on the hands with a fat, comfortable grip.

Easy to use. Dogs’ coats stay shiny. Really works well, especially after their hair is dry after a bath. Doesn’t work well if hair is wet

I have a Tuxedo cat with very fine, but very thick hair. This is an awesome product for her. It removes so much undercoat. I also used it on my dog and got wonderful results. I highly recommend it.

It is huge but it works! Purchased for a 5 pound Yorkie with easy to mat hair. She hated it. It does pull the hair a bit. I worked with it for a while but eventually just shaved her. Maybe works better for a larger dog with less mats.
