Got to temperature checked with my meter to make sure it was going to ground. Added fan and it didn't have enough to switch the fan on. Straight trash.

Just a simple generic part.Looks the same as the ones in a name brand package, it also has the partnumber etched into the hex portion of the body.I got it for a street rod, the fan control kit I have came with a 200-ON 185-OFF and that was too high for my liking. So this one performs better so far, comes On/Off when it should, my cheap temp guage is not 100% accurate though....I'm still working on getting a better one.If this temperature switch fails I will return and blast it in my review!I Hope My Review And Pictures Were Helpful

The switch doesn't have any temperature markings. Could be anything. Won't use it.

Last week I bought the same brand but different temperature range (on at 170, off at 155), it worked great, but I needed one that turned on at 180. Purchased this one (on at 180, off at 165), installed it, ran the truck, my temperature gauge got up to almost 200, and the switch never activated. Either I got lucky with the first one or this one is just defective....can't win them all.

I used this Thermostat Switch for my Aluminum Radiator which needed a 1/8" NPT thread. This switch was hooked up to my dual cooling fan which allows the fan's to kick on and off at 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Seems to be working so far after 3 days and it's been over 100 degrees where I live. The cooling fan's have kicked on and off with no issues.
