  • USE ANYWHERE: Ideal for the bathroom, kitchen, and any other room that has floor or ceiling tiles
  • LONG LASTING INK: Tackle small or large DIY projects with a pen that covers up to 150 feet of thin 2mm grout
  • ADVANCED FORMULA: Non-toxic, water-based colorant that covers grubby grout stains making it look brand new again
  • CAP COLOR: Use the color chart (see images) for most accurate color depiction. Pen cap represents each pen's color but is not expected to be the exact shade, do a small test area first

  • SHAKE ONLY WITH CAP ON: Tip is removable and may fall out if shaken hard, only shake pen with cap on (note - Pen does not need to be shaken at all, instead gently pump tip to activate)

I got the dark grey and black because the pens are relatively cheap and have a fairly long lead time. The project was for black and opaque cracked glass tiles I am using on a back splash for a bar area. I always have problems whenever I grout because I am impatient and wipe the excess off right away instead of waiting. I think this is a big cause on why my grout is always blotchy and whitish no mater the color. I love the glass tiles but after I grouted, it looked like crap. I wasn't sure on the black because it looks like using a black sharpee at first and I thought was too dark. I tried the dark grey, but was too light and did not mix with the tiles well. I was really torn what to do at this point because once I start, im totally committed. I almost elected to leave it alone, but am super happy I went for it. The grout lines were approximately 1/8 inch, but was almost impossible to keep the color off of the tile, and as the tip wore, made it worse because the tip loses its fine point. If I had anything other than glass tiles im not sure how hard it would have been to remove from the tile, but with the glass it wiped off pretty easily. The way I decided to do the job was to work on an area about one square foot at a time. The tiles are 1"x2" so there are lots of grout lines in a square foot. I essentially colored all the lines not worrying too much if I hit the tile. After the square foot was done, I used an old white sock just damp to the touch with water and scrubbed the entire surface. After I was done, the glass had a haze on it I was able to remove with a dry piece of sock. Using the damp sock at first to wipe the excess actually dulled the sharpee look and made it look more like charcoal which is what my grout color was to begin with, except now it actually was, and very uniform. Looks really good now. Very happy I decided to go for it.

Worked better than the grout colorant sent to me by the grout manufacturer to fix the efflorescence in my newly installed black grout. It was also easier to apply/cleanup, though it’s still a very tedious process for small tile. Really happy with this pen. You do want to keep a light touch as the nib will get torn up quick. I kept taking it out and flipping it repeatedly and that bought me a lot of extra coverage.

I used this stain to cover a dark blue grout after we updated our bathroom and the color scheme for the grout needed to be black. I am happy overall with the quality of the stain and ease of use of this product and would recommend it. The downside is the pen only contains 7 ml of stain, which doesn't go very far. Also, the pen tip (nib) tends to deteriorate when being used on coarse grout. I found that the tip was toast about the time the pen ran out of stain. I don't know if that is intelligent design or just luck. I tried not to press too hard when using the tip to extend the life of the pen tip. It is also a bit messy to use, if you over-stain onto the tile you need to get it up right away. The instructions say to use a moist cloth, but that just smeared the stain all over the place. I used my finger and a dry towel, which seemed to work the best. I think this stain would warrant a 5-star ranking if the pen barrel was larger and/or contained more stain. Come on, at give the customer a pen containing at least 10 ml, don't be cheap! If it had even 10 ml, it would increase pen coverage 30 percent and not cost the manufacturer hardly anything. I used three pens to cover approximately 70 square feet (about $30 with tax). I saw bulk grout stains containing 8 oz for sale on Amazon for as low as $30 (though some were not rated very well). BTW, for those of you who don't do metric, 7 ml is just under a quarter of an ounce (.24 oz).

The black grout in our spare bedroom bath never looked good even when new. I even tried to steam clean it to a consistent black soon after move-in, to no avail. It wasn’t dirty, just had a lot of mortar wash on it. I completed “drawing over” all the grout lines of this small area within 10 minutes of receiving this pen. Probably used half of a single pen. Flipped the tip half way through.Exactly what was needed/it’s never looked so good! Had I known I would have taken a “before” pic not just the “after”. I’m elated, best $9 I’ve spent in some time!

Our black grout has never been black, even when it was first installed. I was hopeful this would help cover some of the efflorescence and discoloration. The color of the marker was nice, it instantly refreshed the area I tested. However, the product does not go very far at all, especially on large floor tiles. I was not even able to finish a small closet. The tip also wears down really quickly, even without pressing too hard. The marker is better suited for smaller areas or backsplash tiles, something like that. It's definitely not a cost effective option for 2,500 sq ft of floor tile.

We moved into a home that didn't have sealed grout on the tile floors. The grout looked gross. We tried cleaning it but it was way more work than we wanted to put into something that was just going to get dirty again. We looked into having someone come clean and seal it and the cost was way too prohibitive. So then I found this pen. The results are amazing! In the photo you can see the bottom half was painted with the pen and the top half wasn't yet finished. My kitchen tile is 13 tiles long by 4 tiles wide. It took me about 4-5 hours total. I started just free handing it but found that taping saved me time because the lines were much crisper and I could work more quickly.Yes, there is some seepage under the tape, but as long as you wipe it up before it dries it's easy to wipe off. (You can still get it off the tile after it has dried but it requires a bit more elbow grease - or a sharp fingernail.)One pen finished the entire kitchen floor! In fact, it's still going! I had no trouble with the nib or the pen. As long as you use it as directed, push down on the nib until the ink flows freely, it works wonderfully. I am SO happy with this purchase and with the results!

I used these pens on the grout in a bathroom renovation. They worked really well. They didn't last as long as I anticipated and had to buy more. For a small shower I used about 6 pens. But the effect was amazing. Would recommend.

Aunque me parece muy caro para la cantidad que trae es muy cómodo de aplicar Ya he encargado más .Lo que no se es la durabilidad con el fregado ya que yo lo he usado para las losas del suelo
