Put these in my 2004 Airstream Safari 28 Slide-out. Been doing a lot of upgrades to it and these are one of the best improvements I've made for the money so far...had them in for almost a year now and all still work great! I ordered these in the warm white color and replaced the slightly more opaque/soft white lenses in the light housings with the clear Arcon 11587 Fleetwood Style Euro Light Lens (also through Amazon) and I'm very pleased with the overall look and amount of light, if I turn some on there is decent light, or if I turn them all on there is a lot of light. Also love the fact that they use so little energy that I can run like 10 (8 of these inside and 2 other patio LEDs) of these without the cooling fan for the breaker panel kicking on. LEDs in your RV are a must have, and these are good ones! If you want that extremely white look go for the cool white, but my Airstream being a few years older I went warm white and I think they were the right choice. Enjoy!

I just installed these in a 22 foot toy hauler/camper and they are a definitely improvement over the 1141 bulbs that came with the camper. All 10 in the package worked flawlessly (every LED lit up). They are definitely brighter than 1141's, and close to the same as the 1156's, without the extra power draw and heat. The color is just slightly whiter than the 1141's, which provides a nice touch, as the 1141 bulbs are a little yellow. Each light appears to be consistent in brightness and color temperature, which is a common problem for cheaper LED's. These bulbs are rated for 11-28 volts, which means they include some sort of voltage correction internally, and can regulate the power to the LED's. Most cheap LED bulbs only work in a small voltage range, and will burn out when your camper voltage converter pushes past 14 volts. These seem a little expensive, but they are a great buy. Two of these bulbs are twelve bucks, 10 for fifty saves you a dollar per light (I needed 14 for my camper). The peace of mind of not worrying about over-driving the LED's and burning them out is worth the extra cost.I'll update this review if anything changes. I am definitely looking forward to the extra dry camping time I will gain, as lights were my primary draw on the batteries.

I bench tested these first due to the last failure. Results are in!So they draw around 270 mA at 12.5 volts and they don't noticeably change in brightness over about 9.5 volts. They get fairly warm after about 8 minutes but at least they don't start to smoke after less than 5 minutes (unlike the last ones). Also, they are reasonable in brightness but going by ohms law, I am not getting the quoted 4 watt output. The output light level might be as stated but I have no test equipment for this at this time.Over all, these are ok but not by any means top of the line.

There was a flickering bulb in my RV. So it was changed to a new one. That one bulb very brightly lit up the whole room! I didn't realize how dim the bulbs became over the years. I expect these new bulbs to last as long as the old ones did.

Very bright harsh white light and great for reading. These operate much cooler than cheaper ones and do not mysteriously short circuit, then resume operation after the LED light cools down; this makes identifying the bad ones very difficult. I recommend and will buy again. The only issue, and the same for most LED lights, is that the circular printed circuit board is too broad and will not fit in some lamp sockets so I had to use incandescent bulbs there.

Pros: Nice and bright. The height of the bulb is similar (little longer, see picture) to the incandescent bulbs that it is trying to replace--which is important if your lens cover has a tight tolerance. Other similar LED bulbs are much longer an would not work for my application.Cons: If using it to replace standard brake/blinker bulbs you may need a "load equalizer or resistor" to tell your electronic system that there is actually a bulb in the socket. The LEDs' draw such little current that my blinker indicator flashes rapidly to indicate that the blinker is burned out. Thus the equalizer or resistor is required.INSIGHT: What to look for on the bulbs... where the base meets the glass on your Ba15s incandescent bulb you will NOT see a "rim" and therefore it can set deeper into the socket. These 1156 LEDs have a small "rim" at the top of the base where it meets the LEDs. This is what prevented me from being able to use these bulbs. Look at your light socket, is there additional room to accommodate this rim? Does the existing bulb base sit above the opening or does it push all the way in to where the bulb-glass begins? Good luck!

Finally a LED Globe that replace successful my caravan ceiling bulbs. Colour and brightness is like the old 21 Watt bulbs. Great. I'm happy.

Several years ago I bought some standard LED lights for the trailer. I found them rather on the dim side and they had a blueish macabre light. These produce the amount of light one would expect in a living area. The warm warm is a hue that is reminiscent of incandescent bulbs. I kept an old dimmer bulb installed over the bed so I wouldn't blast my eyeballs getting up in the middle of the night. They use about 1/5 of the energy of standard incandescent bulbs. Recommended!

Wanted to replace the lights in our camper to extend battery life. These LEDs should do the trick. Easy to install, very bright.
