The Guardian Fall Protection "Ladder Stability Anchor" enables you to easily comply with OSHA regulation 1926.1053(b)(1): "…ladder shall be secured at its top to a rigid support that will not deflect." The device is made of lightweight aluminum and allows for secure attachment, without penetration, of the fascia board or to rafters. The Guardian Ladder Anchor is ideal for workers needing to access rooftops of existing or new homes. No special tools are required and it only takes seconds to attach.

I've been using these ladder straps for 10 years. They are the absolute best. Why? Because they are easy to use and will keep your ladders secured and OSHA compliant. I've bought at least 5 or 6 in the last twelve months, the prices have gone up pretty ridiculous. They used to be about 60 bucks each a few years ago, now I'm paying 150, but I bought one or two at 55 recently, not sure how the prices are so volatile. In any case, they are worth it. They fit nicely on the 2x4 trusses under the eave. However not all homes will be compatible (many regions have a sealed soffit) so my alternative method is to remove the velcro straps and use them with a different piece of equipment: Guardian Bull Ring Anchor installed on the roof with at least 2 lags going into the 2x4 truss, then just connect the straps to the ring)

Let me start off by saying my husband fell off a ladder on an 2 story house and fractured his talus bone 9 months ago. So there is a lot of PTSD about going up and down ladders. However, he happens to be in roofing sales, so ladders are unavoidable. He said since he's gotten this gadget, he feels so much more safe and secure compared to the cheaper options his company provides. This is a must buy!

I had a fall from a ladder two years ago, and dislocated two fingers. I haven’t been back up to clean the leaves from the 2nd story since then. This clamp is a hefty chunk of aluminum, with an extra strong Acme threaded steel screw. The strap clips onto the clamp, then has a long (2’? 3’?) to secure the ladder to the roof. It’s long enough to tie in to a couple of rungs and holds the ladder rock solid - even on soft ground. It gave me the confidence the ladder wasn’t going to slip sideways, and gave me solid footing to step from the ladder onto the roof.I purchased a Guardian fall protection system (Bucket of Safe-Tie) at the same time, which covered the last f my worries. 10/10 especially at this price - I wish I had bought it years ago for peace of mind.

This is the best safety product ever. We work on roofs weekly, and this helps us not have to have another person holding the ladder down below. The only time we were as if the eaves are covered up underneath. Best find ever.

It's not an inexpensive safety device, but if you are a DIY person, a small investment is well worth it. After using this ladder safety clamp for repainting the roof fascia on 2nd story high, I realized I had made a right investment by getting this clamp to protect ladder from swinging or toppling. While your sense of balance is most important, and you should always triple check the proper posture of your ladder, the clamp gives you some assurance of ladder stability when you are working up high in the air. The aluminum U clamp feels very solid and rugged, and it holds tight onto the fascia strongly (not for hanging human weights) if you install and strap up the ladder properly. Product comes with 2 sets of velcro strap. When one loses tension, you always have another strap. Loses 1 star because when looping the velcro strap through the metal ring, the tiny velcro hooks keep sticking to the orange strap which also pulling out the strap fabric. My work around is apply a small piece of duct tape inside that looping ring. Now, velcro strap loops in and out smoothly.

This is a must have safety device when going up and down the roof. The ladder does not move when you strap these on. The Velcro is nice and strong. If you know anyone that goes up on roofs, these make a great present! You have to try them out to really appreciate the value.

I don't normally write reviews but there is always an exception. Had to do several roof inspections in one day and alone. The buildings were all 2-3 story high and in the upwards of 30-35 FT. This little gadget saved the day. If you follow the instructions you can't go wrong. My ladder was stuck to the facia at all times and would not move. Safest way to climb high roofs. Should be mandatory piece of equipment.
