I replaced my low-end plastic bridge pins with these and immediately noted a fuller, brighter sound. Came nicely packaged with a pin-lifting tool. They look great and fit perfectly. I also replaced a plastic nut and saddle with bone; the combination of these three changes is VERY noticeable on my entry-level Yamaha guitar. I am very pleased and highly recommend these bridge pins. What an upgrade!

I would not use these on Skita Spruce, nor Maple tops.... but this improves the clarity and high end on my mahogany laminate acoustic. Happy with this purchase.

I was one of those people who didn't believe that saddle pins made a difference in sound on an acoustic guitar. I had always heard that the brass saddle pin will increase sound up to 50%. That is true, I stand corrected. Since it is made out of metal it will want to have a tendency to slip out as it's being strung, so you have to keep a lookout to make sure the pins stay seated. Once tension is applied, they lock. They also sell chrome although I believe these are for cosmetic since chrome is simply a coating whereas the brass is actual solid brass, give it the instrument volume that you did not think you could achieve without an amplifier. And they look awesome, a lot better than white with a black dot. I would buy them again.

My third try to put brass pins in my Recording King guitar. These actually fit the bridge, lock the string in place, and stay seated while turning up. They have a higher cut out for the strings allowing it to actually lock in.

Mine arrived quickly. The collar (widest point of taper) measures 5.00 mm and is a perfect fit for my Ibanez ae245jr. Be sure to measure your originals to make sure they will fit without having to turn the pins down or ream out your bridge. These pins do change the tone of my guitar making it somewhat richer and allowing a bit more attack before it becomes twangy. The pins are dramatically heavier at 4.1g each, compared to 0.86g for a popular branded turquoise pin, or 0.41g for the cheaper grade plastic that came with my guitar. Whether you like the change or not will depend on your ear, your guitar, and your playing style. Fortunately it is a cheap experiment!

These bridge pins came in a nice little case. All fit easily into my washburn acoustic. One thing that I noticed is that all the edges on these are smooth; some of the other brass bridge pins I have seen the channels have been rough or not uniform. Meaning the production quality on these is a little bit higher, no jagged edges or lines from a mold. The uniformity between the bridge pin and the bright look and sound is an upgrade over the originals
