This is a simple and nicely constructed cork guitar neck rest. There are quite a number of similar products available on Amazon. I purchased this one because: 1) the online pictures showed that unlike some others the two saddles where the guitar neck rests are smooth - it is nicely finished, and 2) cost - this was on sale for $9.99, which was anywhere from 20% to a factor of two less than comparable products. Hey - it's a block of cork but it works perfectly, won't scratch my guitars' necks, and doesn't cost much. Buy it!

Love the Portuguese cork. This neck rest is strong, easy to use, and most importantly doesn't mar the instrument's finish. Great buy!

I needed this to adjust my guitar after swapping some parts. It’s a Les paul style neck and sat perfectly fine while I cranked on a few different parts to get my guitar set up. Quality seems good and imagine it won’t need replacement if it is stored properly.

The cork is nicely compressed and dense so it stays in place when using it for maintenance. Used both heights for acoustic and electric and each does it's job well.

I love this, wish we had these when I was a kid! I can change strings, pegs and polish my guitar without it moving. Holds the neck in place very well. Would recommend this product for anyone with a acoustic guitar.

If you do any work on your own guitars this is a must-have. Saves so much hassle over stacking books or other such props to hold your axe while restringing or other work. This is well worth the money.

For me, it could use another inch in height to keep my knuckles from rapping table top when using string winder on my acoustic guitar.But it does provide a solid rest for the neck.And the cork is dense enough that it shouldn’t easily chip.
