I love these blankets — the weight is great, they’re breathable/cooling, and they feel and look good too! I use it on the bed in place of a duvet during the Texas summers, and I have no complaints. The weight is perfect and improves my sleep quality. The threads do snag easily and are difficult to get back into place, so I could see issues if you have pets or kids. I haven’t tried to wash it in a washing machine since I got it a year or so ago, but I’m guessing it would be fine in an industrial washer at a laundromat. I give these blankets as gifts, and people love them!

I used to have a weighted blanket with sand filling in it, which was alright for a while but after about a year all of the sand had worked its way into the edges of the blanket. I wanted to try a knitted weighted blanket for more even weight distribution, but I usually avoid knitted fabrics because I have pets and they never hold up well against their nails; this isn’t a manufacturing or quality issue, it’s just the nature of knitted fabrics. So, I wanted to buy one with a tighter knit pattern so that I could add eyelets into the corners and keep the blanket in a duvet cover to protect it.Enter this blanket, which was a great value for the size and material. It is soft, heavy, and warm. Right out of the box I was very happy with the way it felt, and even more thrilled by the gauge of the knit. It was just loose enough that I could just work a larger eyelet through one of the stitches, but tight enough that the metal was able to grab all of the threads and hold them in place. With the right tools (a hammer, a hard surface, and an eyelet anvil) I was able to add all of the attachment points in about 5-10 minutes. It tied right into my duvet cover and stays in place perfectly! The blanket is very cozy, the weight distribution is perfect, and I think I sleep even better with this one than I did with my sand-filled blanket when it was new.

This weighted blanket is incredible comfortable. 12lbs is just right for me. It is cool to the touch and breathable. Great value for the price. However, the yarn does get pulled easily. That is just how these blankets are, so please treat it gently. I got 2 to 3 spots with pulled yard. However, that is just a cosmetic thing, doesn't hurt the overall blanket.

So, overall I like this blanket. I own the 5lbs (blue) and the 12lbs (grey). However, a couple things:1. They feel the same weight2. The colors are BEAUTIFUL and true to photo3. They are very breathable which I love, very different than other weighted blankets I own. I think this is a pro and con, typically weighted blankets are so warm and cozy yet these allow so much airflow that I typically put another blanket over it to get the heat in.

I bought this for myself and didn’t want the beads. I was afraid of it stretching out too much, but has yet to do so after over 6 months of use and sleeping with it every single night. The weight is heavy and soothing, especially for my restless legs. I’m a hot sleeper (like night sweats) and this blanket is very cool. I had to put a warmer throw over it a couple times during the colder months. It’s easy to throw in the washing machine, and it hasn’t stretched out yet!

This blanket was the best purchase I’ve made in recent years. It’s well made durable and the perfect length , it’s very good for people who are just starting to get into weighted blankets due to the lowerish price and the even weight distribution along the whole blanket. A big issue with other blankets that either use glass beads or sand is the chance of leakage through either holes created from pets or just normal use, I would recommend this product!

Blanket is really comfortable and a good weight. However, after just 2 nights of careful use, I'm finding parts of the blanket coming loose already. Not sure if it comes loose easily or if I just got a bad unit.

This knitted weighted blanket is simply so much better than those other that uses beads. We've gotten much better sleep with these, compared to the ones that uses beads.Firstly, the soy fiber yarn material is super soft without that synthetic feel on the skin like microfiber type material. It slides smoothly on the skin, almost like heavy silk.The knit quality is excellent, no loose threads anywhere. The knit is stretchable; will stretch out a bit if you pull on it, but will bounce back once you release it.We got the 60"x80" 15 lbs, and it's just the perfect weight for my SO and I. The blanket drapes down firmly on our bodies, giving a warm feel but doesn't overheat. We can sleep comfortably with it with our night temperature set to 24C. The only thing we wish is that it comes in bigger size, as my SO tends to "steal" the blanket over to her side at night.
