This is a nice, small suction device that can be used to handle and move plastic or glass sheets. I am using it for cutting quilting cloths with specialized plastic rulers. One of the risks is that you can accidentally cut yourself while you are bearing down on the ruler. This device allows you to keep your hands well away and have no worry about cutting yourself. The suction on this one is just fine for its intended usage.

This is a lot smaller than I thought would be. Great quality! The suction is also very good. The size is my only issue (that's why I gave it 4 stars).

Works OK for a time but is a little odd feeling in the hand. Not that ergonomic and the suction cups gives up it's suction fairly frequently. Have to reposition/re-initiate suction it when cutting more than just a few pieces of fabric. I've made sure there is no film, dirt or lint on the rulers and still have the same issues. Also have pinched the palm of my hand when bringing the handles together to initiate suction.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how strongly this attached to my ruler. I also like that I can hang it on my pegboard when not in use so that I can find it when I need it. Small but powerful.

This gripper doesn’t grip at all, it produces zero suction to hold on to your acrylic quilting template. Waste of money, returned to seller.

I recently cut the tip of my finger off cutting fabric without one of these it would have saved me hundreds in hospital bills and a ton of pain. I ordered this in the hospital. So if your like me wondering if you really even need one of these yes you do. Sewed today and this is comfortable and easy to use
