I received this package about 15 minutes ago and I’ve already got it installed. I used a miter saw to cut to length and it worked perfectly. My window is regular so I’m not sure how easy it would be to fit an irregular but I imagine it can’t be too hard. I was in desperate need because my old one fell as it was horrible. I went with the corrugated hoping it would be more stable. I could tell immediately that it was. I’m 5’4†and only had to use a stepladder if that tells you how sturdy it is. The magnet is a plus that I didn’t even realize it came with. All light is blocked out and now my dog can’t bark at passersby 😊

Does well keeping the light out, it’s a good fit as well. Only issue we had is it wouldn’t stay in place so we had to use a couple pieces of double sided tape and it’s been in place since.

My house faces due west. I got this shade to cover the arched window in my front door, which is situated so sunlight will come through in the late afternoon for about half the year. The light is so intense that in inhibits watching TV for several minutes.The beam of light is also very hot coming through that glass. I previously had cut out a piece of cardboard to cover that oddly-shaped window., but that cardboard is not really becoming to the eye.I've looked for many years trying to find some affordable solution to this problem. This shade was too thick to fit the edge of the arched window which only had about 3/8" clearance due to the framing of the window in my front door. The shade requires about 1.75" of flat surface to properly mount it.This hurdle was overcome by cutting a small shelving unit I had laying around to a narrow depth of 2", and attaching that onto the door just below the window frame. The shelf length was the same across as the window frame. It was painted to match the door color (white).Then I measured the length of that modified shelf, and divided in half to get the center point for mounting the center holder and the radius I needed for trimming the shade to size.The window is not quite a semi-circle, being more of a crescent shape. If I had measured from the top of the frame to the shelf as instructed, the shade would leave a slight gap at the sides. It was unconventional reasoning, but it worked. I then cut the shade as per instructions, using my calculated radius measurement.The shade easily attached to my modified shelving as per instructions, and I now have a shade which takes care of the problem and has a nice aesthetic. It opens and closes with ease and blocks out that annoying, intense sunlight for those few minutes. each day.My situation was rare, and I had to come up with a creative solution to make this shade work for me.The shade wasn't really designed for this type of window, so be sure you have at least the 1.75" flat clearance on the bottom of the window in order to attach the shade as intended. Otherwise, you will have to come up with some out-of-the ordinary way to get around the problem as I did.If you have the correct window, this shade will definitely block out the sunlight as intended. Hope this bit of information will be helpful to those looking for a similar solution.

Just as good if not better that big name brand that cost much more like the previous one we replaced with this one. They do need to be trimmed so just be aware of that when you order but can easily be trimmed with any pair of scissors. The material is nice, its white but thick enough you can't see through it so that's a huge plus and the price is great. I would definitely purchase from this seller again

I had a window near the Christmas tree where the sun was cooking it. We got this to solve that problem. It was easy to install. Took me more time to measure a bunch to make sure I got the measurements right. Good directions included how to do that. I didn't mess it up, that was a surprise. I had to use a box cutter to cut the blind to size. Scissors were not cutting it...literally. I climbed up the ladder to install this. I didn't have any issues sticking the magnet to the window sill. Of course I cleaned the years of dust bunnies out of there first. I made sure the magnet made contact with the shade before climbing down the ladder. It's been up about a month now and I have already headed back up twice to get the shade to stay put and not lift. I may have to come up with another solution next time. It did keep the sun out though and the Christmas tree from suffocating from the sun's wrath so I guess it served it's purpose already.

This is a very large and customizable window shade. It should fit any size arched window you might have. If it is too big you just cut it to size and it will fit perfectly. Unfortunately the way my window on my door is designed I cannot use this. It is no fault at all to this product so I am not going to ding it any because of my own error. Very good product. Just make sure that the window you want to use it in has a completely flat bottom to mount this on.

This is a very large customizable window arch shade. For widows with ledges. It needs somewhere for the mounting to be attached. If you are handy I'm sure you could figure out a way to make it work for a door, but it will be that...more work. Use as intended and it is easy up and go. Given the size, recommend some sort of electrical cutting tool then doing by hand. Will help the edges be more uniform and not jagged.
