I've had my old arch shade for a very long time, and it is not a blackout shade. It lets lights in, but I guess I just got used to it. However, I can see now how much difference this new Blackout Arch Window Shade makes. It looks elegant, and I like the color of the shade too. The shade really blocks the light in the morning, and it keeps the room dark.The installation was fairly easy except the cutting part. I would not say it was easy to cut the shades to the size that fits my window. The height of my window was 36", but the width was 70", not 72". So this required careful cutting of the shade to fit the top and the bottom with different length. The shade is great, but I removed one star for its difficulty cutting. I had to put the included velcro strips on the other side of shade to hold it in place. The installation did not require any drilling of holes or screws.

Like many modern homes, we had built in arch-windows. They are very stylish and attractive. However, they also bring in a tremendous amount of light. So, we began looking for shades that might fit the window. This would provide both privacy as well as a means to block some of that light.This set is very nice. They are very easy to install. Make sure that you measure both your window's diameter (straight width) and radius (distance from bottom to top). Some arch windows are not quite so symmetric; so, you'll want to order the correct size. Thankfully, these fit perfectly. As such, they are quite functional for your window and home.These are very high quality shade too. Consequently, they are a great value at this price point. The color is nice and they block most of the light quite well.

This was twice the size of the window I needed it for, so it took a bit of cutting, but we got it to work. Unfortunately, it wasted a lot of blind. I wish I could have gotten a smaller one so that so much would not have been wasted. Maybe I can come up with a craft to use the left overs.The Arch window is above the door. The window above the door made it impossible to see the television during the late afternoon times, so this blind works great in blocking the suns reflection in the tv.

Blinds are nice. They block out 100% of the light. They come in a 24 inch length. You have to cut them to fit which was easy enough for me to do. Was easy to install. The outside is an aluminum color. The inside fabric is a white. Definitely helps with the sun hitting those high windows.

The Changshade half moon arch window shades are a simple solution for blocking light. I had previously cut out a piece of white foam board to use as a blackout shade and wanted something more attractive. First, I was disappointed that the color was more of a gray looking white. Second, I do like that you can customize the size by cutting them, but you need a really sharp knife to get a clean cut. Third, the instructions were kind of vague to me when it came time to apply the adhesive strip. The shade comes with an adhesive strip on one side already and you have to apply another strip on the opposite side after you fan out the shade. There were two strips of double back velcro that are not described in the instructions. Why not just preinstall adhesive strips on both sides? Anyway, installation is fairly simple and the shade does have a nice appearance.

We have 2 different windows that are completely different sizes and these cut to fit shades worked for both of them. They’re a little tricky to cut, but they help with making this windows a little less bright first thing in the morning.

This fit decently in our window, comes with 3M to stick it down. Did a nice job of keeping heat out on hot days! Great price compared to custom arch blinds
