The price I paid for this was a good deal less than I would pay for something similar at Spirit Halloween. So, I expected the same embarrassingly awful quality you would receive with every costume ever purchased at that place. Not the case!!! The fabric was decent. The stitch quality also decent. I hand washed it so I didn't itch and it survived that well. The leather goods were leather not plastic or awful vinyl. The fit of the shirt was as expected. The thing that weren't as great: The buttons were too big for the holes on the sleeves but you can cut the holes bigger or get new buttons or not button it because the bracers cover it. The leather is extremely stiff. The pants are baggier than expected. The brown color of the pants doesn't work well with the color of the leather. All of those are tiny complaints for the price I paid. Bottom line: It looks pretty damn good for a one time wear or rarely worn costume and cost very little.

Bought this costume for the NY Renaissance Fair and was not disappointed with the quality. The material is linen-like and very comfortable. The gauntlets are surprisingly good quality and made of actual leather. I was expecting them to be more like the hard pleather ones you'd find at Spirit Halloween stores, but they are very decent quality.The belt is also very good quality. I combined the costume with a sword I bought at Spirit. I'm 5.9 and bought the small and fits very well, as you can see in the photo. Will definitely use this costume for next year's Ren fair and will add accessories to it.It's a great value and worth the purchase.

I ordered a medium size based on other's reviews. The pants fit fine, but the shirt's tight as expected; I'm 5'9", 190# with an athletic build. I might have to shred the shirt to get it off, but I'll order a large to go with the pants for any future parties. The real leather belt, arm guards and knife holder are surprisingly well made.

I bought this outfit as a last-minute costume for a Renaissance festival, and I am very pleased by the quality. While there are minor things about it, like the fabrics being fairly thin and the brown of the pants being very burnt-orange in color, it’s much nicer than what you would expect from a $30 costume. My only real complaint is about sizing, which is my own fault. I am a skinny guy (6’, 150lb), and based on other reviews I decided to size up from the size chart because I was worried the outfit might be too short. This was a mistake and I think the size chart is actually pretty accurate. I was able to shrink the outfit a little bit by washing and drying it on high, but if you’re a skinny person I don’t recommend sizing up.

Usually I don’t like to buy costume stuff online being plus sized. I’m 6’1 and around 300lbs. Waist is about a size 42 and I usually wear 2x shirts. Most costumes online don’t really go up to my size but this one fit just right! Got an xl. Both the shirt and pants fit right. The arm braces are pretty nice material, the string that comes with them is a little long, but you can cut them. All in all, great costume for an amazing price.

This worked for what I bought it for. Definitely it looks like a costume. Thin material but looks good and was comfortable. Fit my husband. Didn’t look as cheap as some costumes. Would buy again.
