Little did I pay attention to the size when ordering. After the fact I read 12 Cups? 96 oz of oil max. The minimum amount of oil is 64oz. I was like oh my goodness this is going to be too large. Well it is not it is the prefect size. I can fry two chicken breasts which is perfect for me. Maybe you could do a third but it is just simply much easier to do two at a time. Cooks them to a perfect brown color and fully cooked in 15 minutes.It is extremely easy to clean as everything comes apart. The heating element slides onto the side. The fry pot is just a pot that sits in the shell. The base and handle come apart easily but stays together when using it. The cord is magnetic and if it gets yanked while in use it just pops off but stays secure when in use.This is just a very nice fryer.

I've always done all my frying in a conventional pot using a thermometer or chop stick to see if the oil was hot enough - not any more! With this fryer the heat rods get the oil to the perfect temperature in about 5-10 minutes. Easy to clean as well, just make sure to wipe down the sides with a wet sham cloth after every use and have a station where you can remove the heat rods to replace the oil when needed. You will rarely overcook your fried foods with this fryer, all you really need is a meat thermometer and 1 arm to lift the frying tray out to check to see if its cooked.You also have to make sure to slide the panel with the heat rod in place with the panel that holds the oil or the fryer won't turn on.

It doesn’t work as expected. I used it one and it no longer works the green ready light comes on at the lost temp. As soon as I turn it up to the max the green ready light goes off and my oil doesn’t get hot.
