For light work you just can't go wrong with the Fretz Precisionsmith hammer. The hammer itself is a work of art. The Rosewood handle and the fine craftsmanship of the steel head are second to none. I work with wire and this little hammer perfect for leaving small texture on a very small surface. For larger less delicate surfaces or something that needs some muscle behind it you would want to go with the Fretz Silvermith hmr 100 series.

I don't know how such a light tool could make anything, I gave two starts because it is very light although the design is nice and feels great the tool itself is questionable in texturing heavier metals.
