I was looking for a toy hammer and land upon this gem. It is a neat little toy that helps my Montessori 4yo to practice eye hand coordination. The hammering is safe and easy on little kids and the wooden nails are long and strong enough that won’t cause harm when when hammering onto hand. My mostly hammered into our styrofoam block and dough like stuff and it’s very fun and easy to use. The wooden surface was smooth and no splinter or anything. Hammer was great size for little hands

I always pull this out when my toddler wants to bang on stuff. Just get a cardboard box or those green fake plant foam boxes and let my son hammer them in. They are a little sharp, so make sure you are watching them as they play and put them up when they are done because they could definitely get hurt or hurt someone with these.

We've only had this one day but my child has about worn it out. LoL He absolutely loves using it. I found an old shoe box he can hammer the nails into & he has hammered off & on all day. He even wanted to bring it in the car. Very entertaining for a 5 year old. I can't say yet how sturdy it is. I'll update if it doesn't hold up but it appears well made.

Great toy for keeping a toddler distracted. Nails are sharp, I would supervise. Wish it came with a box to keep them in.

I used this product in my OT practice to teach students pre-vocational skills and to provide deep pressure input. The student were able to pound the tees into a styrofoam pumpkin and enjoyed it!

Head of hammer came off within 1st 5 minutes of my son using it. My 4 yr old was not a happy camper! My husband clued it back together.

Got this for a toddler to pound “nails†into a hunk of styrofoam. He’s obsessed with all things daddy and this was perfect for this. Start the tees into the styrofoam and then it becomes a good fine motor task. I extended it by letting him balance marbles on the tees when he was finished pounding. Now he knows why “nails†need to be straight!
