My wife thought it was a joke when I told her I purchased a treasure chest, but when she saw it she loved it. I got it to store some precious metals; you know, "Treasure". The wood and woodwork is quality, however, the lock can be thrown away...junk. We love the overall look of the accents on the outside of the chest and the side handles lets you get a firm grip. Like I said, I will store some silver and gold bullion and other important items in it and place it in my safe. For most people it will be a nice item to store nicnacks and use as a conversation piece. I am happy with the purchase.

This a very beautiful and sturdy little chest. I was overjoyed with it. Although the lock was no good the chest was magnificent. I highly recommend it

My son uses this as a file box to keep his hand written stories in to "keep them safe" it's awesome, and well built. The motivation it brought for him to add to his pile of stories though was well worth the price.

The trunk itself is good, but the lock and key that are included are horrible. In my opinion, you will need to buy another one.

I just received it, it’s a nice size. The quality & craftsmanship is phenomenal. I like the silver plated lions head on the handlebars, The lock was a bit tricky.. felt loose & not that sturdy tbh. Could’ve been better but it’s fine. Can’t wait to fill this bad boy with silver & copper bars! Thank you.
