Returned these handrails immediately after installing them. The handrails easily detached from the mount with the gentlest pressure. They are not sturdy nor secure for someone relying on them for ascending or descending stairs.

This is a great handrail, and it's pretty easy to install if you're attaching it on a wood base. Just four or six sturdy screws are needed. Attaching to brick would be more difficult due to having to drill into the brick or mortar. Please note that it is only for two or three steps. The white finish appears to be powder coated, which should make the rail hold up well in the weather if you're using it for outside. Being round, it's very easy to grip. Good value and great rail.

When you have a mobility problem, stairs are hard to navigate. We installed this handrail on the 2 stairs into our home from garage. It is very sturdy and the angle is perfect for its location. Has made a much appreciated difference.
