Lizbeth thread brand is available in 5 different sizes: 3, 10, 20, 40, and 80. With thread, the higher or larger the number of the thread, the thinner it is. For example, size 3 is a thicker thread than a size 40 and a size 80 is smaller than a size 40.
About Size 20 and Size 40
Size 20 crochet thread is a very common size for tatting projects, such as edgings, snowflakes, doilies, ornaments, bookmarks, motifs, jewelry, etc. Recommended: Steel Crochet Hook: 9-10 (1.15mm-1.25mm), Tatting Needle: Size 5-0 or 7-Fine, Knitting Needle: 0000 (4) (1.25mm)This size is also great for:
