AC Scan Detection
- Up to 50 mm/2in;
- Multiple detection, the location will be more accurate;

Exact Mode (Wood)
- Up to 20mm/0.8in;
- long press to switch exact mode/deep mode.
Depth Mode (Wood)
- Up to 38mm/1.5in;
- Wood detection mode can detect objects in plaster drywall, plywood sheathing, bare wood flooring, coated wood walls.
Metal Scan Detection
- Detects metal up to 120mm/4.7in;
- Non-ferrous metals up to 100 mm / 3.94in;
- Detection of metal will be displayed on the display with the detection operation synchronized with the detection depth value.
Easy to Use
Step 1: Calibration before scanning
- Short press the detection mode button, and wait for automatic calibration;
- You can choose the detection mode, and detection depth, the instrument defaults to metal mode.
Step 2: Scanning walls
- Move the scanner slowly along the wall. Do not lift the instrument or apply additional pressure;
- Note: If you shake or lift the instrument carelessly, you need to recalibrate it.
Step 3: Find the center of the target
- The progress bar on the screen changes with the distance of the object;
- When the signal is full, the indicator light flashes and a ticking sound is emitted, meaning that the center of the object has been found.
NOTE:
●Sometimes due to various environmental factors, the stud finder may not be able to calibrate automatically, and a wrong alarm signal may appear, please calibrate manually.
●If the detector has just been calibrated on the wooden stand, you need to move the tool out of the range of the wooden stand and detect the wooden stand again.
● If you are receiving erratic scan results, it may be due to moisture, humidity inside the wall cavity or drywall, or recently applied paint or wallpaper that has not fully dried. While moisture may not always be visible, it can interfere with the tool's sensors. Please allow the walls to dry for a few days.
●For some environmental factors or uneven surfaces, it is difficult to detect wooden nails using the wood studs detection mode. It may be easier to find these items by changing the metal detection mode to locate the nails that hold the material to the wood.
● Depending on the proximity of wires or pipes to the wall, the stud finder can detect them in the same way as wood studs. Care should always be taken when nailing, cutting or drilling holes in walls, floors and ceilings that may contain these items.

This stuff finder works great. I'm a technician for DirecTV and it works great through stucco and works great for shingles roofs pretty accurate. Very happy. Great product for the value price

Seems to be a fine product, but the battery in mine has to be installed backwards for it to work. Must have been a new guy putting them together. Just wanted to inform you folks that if it doesn't work, try putting the 9v in backwards. ðŸ˜

Ehh its OK,though my guys and I do like the wiring location detection ...(rarely needed though)as we are very easily able to look at walls and know wiring & plumbing pipe locations based off building trade experiencehonestly - the old Hanson 03040 Magnetic Stud Finder is always our go to stud finderthis HANMATEK has only been used a handful of times by the guys,where the magnetic Hanson one (we have several dozen in the shop) get used DailyFor homeowners/individuals with no or minimal actual building trade work experience, this might be a great tool to have on hand to use, but for experienced building trade workers that know what their looking for from experience the magnetic one is quick and reliable

This is definitely not your average stud finder, before you use it rtfm. Really I mean it. To get the best use and best experience rtfm. And then practice before you drill holes, practice makes perfect and once you got the hang of it you will wonder why you did not buy one earlier.

Wanted to cut a hatch in laminate flooring and floor boards but needed to find joists to be able to cut in correct location to allow re-fitting when hatch cut. This meter helped identify the nails on the floor boards under the laminate identifying where the joists were fixed. Worked perfectly.
