Firm Joint Calipers
- Firm joint caliper use friction joint to hold the legs not move, adjust a caliper to a scale dimension, one leg of the caliper should be held firmly against one end of the scale and the other leg adjusted to the desired dimension. Inside calipers are used to measure the inner diameter or groove width of the cylindrical hole.
- Outside calipers measure the external size, thicknesses and outside diameters of objects.
- Our metal calipers are forged from stainless iron, with overall heat treatment, high hardness, high torque, and good toughness.
- Smooth surface and burr-free, accurate measurement, can be used for a long time and not easy to loosen.

I would not have accepted these for free if I'd seen them in person first. The machining and construction are extremely primitive. The edges are rough in the hand and the tips do not meet precisely. Also, based on how magnetic these are is I don't believe they're made of stainless steel. I'll throw them in a toolbox and probably never pull them out to use as they just are not a pleasant tool to try and work with.Hopefully the photos I took can give you an idea of the crude way these are manufactured.
