I was super excited to get this piece and then EXTREMELY disappointed when it won't fit.I now am debating making my own mount for it as the mount they sent does not give enough clearence.If this is correct then they should send mounting instructions as I have tried everything I can think of and it don't fit

The cover us nice and heavy but came with four bad spots three round spots in the black which show exposed metal and one in the brown between the N and O in the word not . So I have decided to just put it on a display shelf and order one from someone else for my bike
