I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this shoulder guard is, fit my 14 hh QH great as she recovers from a wither sore. The material is plush and everything feels pretty durable and high quality. Extra padding on neck and withers. Would not hesitate to buy again

My gelding has pretty high withers, as well as an old scar that covers the entire top and right side of the wither. His blankets rub it pretty bad each year, and when layering blankets this year it rubbed completely raw and he was very sensitive on it. I needed something soft and padded to protect his withers so the rubs could heal, and stumbled upon this! It is PERFECT!! the wither and chest area are padded with a fleece lining on the inside, so it is soft against his skin while also protecting them from his blankets. It doesn’t slip or slide around either, and I love that the collar of the bib also protects from the collar of the blanket!! Highly recommend! After just a week of wearing his rubs were already healing and he wasn’t as sensitive in the area.for sizing reference: I ordered the Large. he is a 17h lanky thoroughbred

Nice and thick Lycra material with fleece in the spots to help add protection from rubbing! It does tend to slip forward, but that happens with most shoulder guards. Velcro seems like good quality that should last, and the elastic band is also thick so hopefully it have a handful of years of use!

This shoulder guard doesn’t move around. I love that it adds a little extra warmth with the fleece inside and the raised fleece collar. Nice thick Velcro that can be adjusted from both sides. I’ve had really expensive ones in my life, but none of them as nice as this. Half the farm has them now after seeing how nice they are and how they hold up.

Exactly as described this shoulder guard prevented blanket rubs on my clipped Warmblood, it fit him well and was very soft.
