Scares the sparrows off the porch. The only issue is that the head is supposed to move with the wind and it does not. The swivel is a little to stiff for the wind to move it.

We had a woodpecker problem and this was one of the first deterrent we tried.It did not work with him but it works for pigeons.

Works like a charm. I placed each on a pole, but they can also be weighted with sand. They are very light and very effective at keeping birds away. But my dog keeps barking at them. Lol!

Very realistic and good quality. Birds used to build nest constantly on my porch. It wasn’t a problem until all the bird poop started piling on my porch. Since we put these guys up, no new nest. Clean porch. My daughter and mom thought these owl were real lol.

I bought these owls to scare away squirrels. The owls are super cute, but anything short of gale force winds won’t move the heads. And the squirrels dug holes right in front of them and kicked dirt in their faces. So that didn’t work. At least they’re cute.
