Wish I could give these 0 stars because they do not work at all! Birds are definitely not scared of them. They will land right beside them and crap all over the place. They also do not withstand the weather outside. The owls quickly faded to an ugly blue color and now they don't work and they look ridiculous. We'll be taking them down to trash them sadly. What a waste of money.

Pigeons love my backyard pool and like to poop all over the decking. It's disgusting, and my husband is constantly outside power washing. We contacted pest control people and their only solution was poisoning and killing the pigeons! We both are animal lovers and would NEVER kill wildlife, so we looked for safe solutions that wouldn't harm the birds. I bought these and they seem to help a lot. They are easy to install in the trees, we just got a step ladder and tied them high in the branches. They're kind of funny to look at, but the shine, motion from the wind, and clear owl pattern fools the pigeons. I am guessing eventually we will have to move the locations of the fake owls since pigeons are smart, but it shouldn't be too hard to move them to other branches and trees. Buy these if you're having problems with pigeons; please don't harm or kill the birds.

Did not work at all for squirrels. Squirrels were eating my garden a few feet away from the hanging owls on the first day.

This is the second time I bought this product, they worked to get rid of the woodpeckers however it’s windy where we live and they got beat up so all that’s left is their heads. I wish they were a bit tougher but they work well while they last.

These really worked to keep birds away from our cars. I hung several from trees around our parking area. Suggest you add a 1 ounce fishing weight to keep them from blowing around excessively. Lifelike detail. Would buy again.
