Attached it to an air conditioner along with coiled wire to stop pigeons from roosting. Working great and I like seeing it through the window!

I have an RV and live on a farm in Florida. Constantly having woodpeckers on my roof pecking at insects. Also squirrels getting acorns off the roof. Not any more thanks to my pet owls sitting on my roof.

They are good, looking owls at affordable price for the trio. However, they did not work to keep the bird away that has been persistent at banging into my windows.

I live in a forest of junipers. Two months ago, several flocks of robins, numbering in the thousands, started feasting on the local juniper berries. Then they started gathering and pooping on every flat surface in the area. Porches, vehicles, air conditioners... everything. All of my neighbors are experiencing the same thing.I purchased a 3-pack of these owls to scare them off. They work to a certain extent, but only if they're moved very often. This is included in the online instructions, but in my case, it needs to be done much more frequently than I expected. The robins will become accustomed to the fake owls after an hour or two. A big problem is that the owl heads will not move until the wind speed reaches about 10 mph. That's enough to blow your hat off. These fake owls might be much more effective if the heads really rotated with a breeze.

I have had a problem with squirrels coming in Through my garage and moving up into my attic to live all winter. I installed two Owls in the garage and two Owls in the attic and it appears to have squelched the problem. Great deterrent

We have a problem with doves congregating on our fence and swimming pool negative edge; drinking from the pool and crapping, thus leaving an unsightly/unhealthy mess!We purchased the plastic owls and placed them on the negative edge as a bird deterrent. It didn’t take long for the birds to figure out that the plastic owls were harmless, so we attached some reflective pinwheels and streamers to the owls.We were delighted for the first two day, the Doves would fly-by, see the owl and abort their landing. However, on the third day we had a pair of curious HUGE Vultures stop in to check out the owls. One the fourth day we had a “REAL†Owl spend a good part of the day in our yard, drinking out of our negative edge and dinning on a baby rabbit.I’m not sure if this is just a nightmarish coincidence or if the plastic owls attracted these birds of prey, but I do know that we have lived here for over twenty years and never ever even seen a Vulture let alone had two of them camp out in our yard!I can hardly wait to see what kind of creatures are lured in on the fifth day!

It’s been two years and we have not had a woodpecker since putting them up.

I was looking for some plastic owls to put on my patio and deck because the blackbird were pooping on it all the time. I bought these owls and they work great! No more bird poop! They are the perfect size and they look real. I filled them with pea rock for weight. They worked so good that I bought another set so I can set them around on my patio and deck area. It so nice to not have to deal with the bird poop anymore!
