I love this. It was affordable and durable. I've mainly used it for desserts, but I also used it as a serviet for snacks and dip and it was great. Serves it's purpose nicely. I would recommend this for anyone looking for an affordable multi use dessert or snack tray.

Tbh... this was in part my fault. I had gone through dozens of cake stands and I was trying very hard to not break the bank on this purchase just so that I could make 1 carrot cake. That said.. my description says it all. It's much cheaper looking than the photos on here make it seem. It is incredibly light weight, but that poses an issue for me since my 26lb Maine coon can literally push the entire stand (cake included) onto my dining room floor with barely any effort at all. There is also 0 way to use this stand to transport anywhere. I think I might end up investing in one of those catering bags and put the whole stand in there. Besides that.. it does everything it's supposed to do and can be used multiple ways just like the description of the product says.

I buy one of these each year to display an edible art cake for a not for profit auction. It is classy and easy to see what is inside. It easily fits a 10 inch round cake.

I really like the design of this cake stand and dome, It seems like it would be great to travel with, which is what I bought it for, but if you're looking for something to use in your home, I would go with something more elegant made from crystal or glass; this product is made out of clear, hard plastic, and its more utalitarian than it is pretty, but still a lot nicer looking than Tupperware. The pedestal is detachable, which makes it possible to lay flat in the trunk of your car, also making it more compact for storage. If you flip the tray upside down, it becomes a perfect vegi & dip platter, and the dome fits over it that way too. There is a ridge around the perimeter on the top and bottom to keep the dome from sliding around during travel. You can also use it as a punch bowl in a pinch, but I probably wouldn't use it for that purpose. It's a perfect little cake stand or tray for veg and dip, fruit, cheese etc. to take along to a party.

The cover and stand functions as I need BUT they're some design flaws that could have been addressed. As you see in the pics.. the tray itself has a curve in it which doesn't allow the cover to sit flat and therefore doesn't seal as it should[ to correct this I had to use a baking sheet to act as a seal and also protect the wood. And the more annoying one for me was the the holes in the cover had to be widened to allow for the mounting screws for the handle to line up..Otherwise it's a cool cover that fits my two loafs of banana bread quite nicely.

It's beautifully simple and amazingly affective. My fridge tends to dry out creamed cakes within two days even when uncut, but this kept it moist even after two weeks. (It did go bad, I just wanted to check the moisture retention.) It's beautiful for the price, just take care not to scratch it up.

Item of brand HABIBEE was ordered, received item of brand SLINGS, though it seems same in looks.Item is okay, clear acrylic which may get scratches if not cleaned carefully.The tray has plastic bumps around the edge which the cover should fit inside... But it doesn't! So the cover doesn't sit quite flat on the tray - 2 stars docked for that.
