Needed a cable to connect the HDMI port from my Dell laptop running Windows 11 to a Sharp xr-105 projector that only had a VGA input. Cable worked great. The cable itself is well constructed and should last a long time. Price was very reasonable for a good quality cable.

This cable is well constructed so the ends should not start to separate from the cable. Each side fits its female receptacle securely.My new computer has no VGA port, but an HDMI port for my monitor cable. My old flat screen monitor still works great but only has a VGA port. This cable bridged the gap for me.I dropped my rating one point from 5 to 4 because of the slightly reduced clarity of the images on my monitor. I don't notice any difference at all while browsing the web, but the lines (borders) within my Excel spreadsheets slightly zig zag as they move from cell to cell. This is not really the cable's fault because it is taking a digital signal (HDMI) and trying to make it work on an analog (VGA) screen.
