First, the color: I was expecting more of a holographic image based on the photos. Just plain old dye. Not impressive.Second, the quality: at first the blades appear sharp but after less than 50 cuts (yes, I kept a tally) I started to get skipped threads, the bane of every quilter.These will work okay for my scrapbooking but for cutting fabric they are definitely mediocre.

I had hopes that it would cut better than the old worn out frisker blade. It cut worse than it did. I'm not sure I can return it, will have to see. I have the first one and am tired of having to go back and forth to cut the fabric. Even my hubby, who is not near as weak as I am, had trouble cutting the two pieces of fabric.From now on, it will be frisker blades that I will buy, may be more money, but worth it.I wish that they had not removed the opportunity to respond to a post, I have so many questions on quilting. New to this and get confused at times on what to do.
