Copper cladded aluminum wire corrodes very quickly especially when exposed.I accidentally purchased this and found out the hard way, my advice is to only purchase pure copper wire and not CCA especially on a trailer.

I bought rolls of CCA wire to re-do a trailer when I didn't know better. CCA will corrode in a short time, months to years depending on conditions, when it gets wet. Water infiltration at connectors will wick along the wire inside the insulation. The CCA will swell, stop conducting, get brittle, and eventually break. Troubleshooting these problems sucks and requires the wire to be spliced or completely replaced. Do not use CCA outdoors unless you're certain you can keep the water out at connections and prevent the insulation from getting compromised anywhere.
