I replaced the straight cable switch on my travel trailer with this coiled type. I always had a fear the long cable was going to catch something or get wrapped around the hitch or sway control. Easy install and it doesn’t hang down. Seems well made, hope it never needs to be used!

So after buying this trailer and the Breakaway switch was messed up the brakes would work and not work couldn't figure out why seems the wires were grounding on the frame replace switch all is fine everything works like it should recommend

I have the Huskey weight distribution system equipped to my trailer. This added a little distance between the hitch receiver (rear bumper) and trailer. The red cable is short by about 12”. Will have to add a cable to accommodate. Wish it were easier to attach a longer single cable than having to attach another cable past the carabiner.

I replaced on my 24yr old trailer. Very simple to install, and I really like the cable
