This seems like a frivolous expenditure, but trust me every one of the tools in the box is useful. The scrapper is sharp enough to clean the surface. The orange scrubbers are perfect for light jobs and be careful with the pumice, only because it is easy to get cleaning carried away and you'll have to re-season.

My Blackstone had gotten pretty nasty so I decided a partial re-surface was needed. These worked great to get the surface down to a relatively smooth surface. I had a bunch of gunk built up on the griddle and this was able to get rid of it. It took a lot of scrubbing, but nothing too bad. The handle worked pretty good for most of the scrubbing. When I got to the sides, I just used my hand (with a glove).

Perhaps I don't know what I'm doing, but these don't seem to make a difference, and I find them hard to use. The top piece that you use to guide them, just slips right off. I will update later, after I figure this out.
