The adhesive back square magnets work well with smaller lighter metal tools (see photo). Likely would work with larger flat metal tools using multiple magnetic squares. If larger magnetic squares were available I would purchase them.

These work great for the described purpose in this listing - hanging tools to a wall, or even knives in your kitchen. Make sure you have a clean, non-porous surface to affix these to so the adhesive doesn't fail, then you're set!

These magnetic squares are as advertised. They work for the intended purpose. I haven't used them for heavy tools, but have for other projects requiring strong magnets that have a strong adhesive. There are no concerns/issues thus far.Rating Systemâï¸ 1 star= Disappointed. I don't recommend it at all, poor quality, or not as advertised.âï¸âï¸ 2 stars = Has some redeeming quality.âï¸âï¸âï¸ 3 stars = It's passable. Might not have bothered.âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ 4 stars = Mostly Satisfied.âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ 5 stars = Entirely Satisfied. Recommend.

I got these magnets to attach one side to my motorhome and the other to a pretty lightweight LED light bar so I could take it down when we were driving - but the magnets would not hold it for long.To be fair, the sticky side stuck, even in Savannah heat - but the magnets did not stick to one another. Im going to try again by putting a metal plate on the back of the light. In the meantime, my husband used a few on an overhead cabinet that rattled a bit when we were driving, and it did hold the cabinet down and eliminated the rattling. So overall, ok - depending on the application.

These are Pretty good magnets but they are the older soft/plastic type magnets. The ones I got were the .080" thickness which is about double the standard flexible type you will find commonly used for fridge magnets. This extra thickness seems to give them about double the attraction of the thinner type. They come in a plastic wrap in a 3x6" pack and I used them still in the pack to find a plethora of nails left over from my recent roofing job and they worked just great for this but it was only doing it by hand on my knees. Very sloppy roofers they were.I had hoped they were more of an neodymium type with a much higher strength so I could stick them on a 1x2 that I drag across the ground but these are not that. Although they do work pretty good, I am not sure they will hold anything larger than very small tools on a board unless you use more then one for each tool.

It is as described... a rack of magnets with a sticky side you can also cut if needed.Home, auto, garage - lots of magnetic opportunity. Even if you don't know what you want them for, when you do know then you'll appreciate already having them (I say).Again, don't eat them.

I wanted these to replace some adhesive magnets for my under-cabinet lighting. These are the perfect size and will easily hold those small, lightweight lights. I decided to try some other things that are heavier and I was blown away how much weight these little 1" x 1" squares could hold. The heaviest thing I tried was a small hammer that weights almost 12 oz and it held it up. I would probably use 2 squares for that, but it easily held an 8" chef knife that weighs 8 oz. I would call that mighty. I did use it on a smooth metal surface so it might not hold as well on different surfaces but metal works great. Impressive.
