This tool is very robust. I am currently installing rough sawn hickory planks on a bedroom floor in our log home. Many of the planks have a crown to contend with. This tool is making the installation much easier. It is a heavy duty device and the striker is capable of some serious abuse. The broad variety of flooring it can be used on makes it a good investment. The price is good for the quality and weight of the tool. If you need a tool like this, then this will definitely be the one to buy.

Exceeded my expectations in build quality. Worked great to close multiple gaps in previously installed flooring using a short section of 1x4 with double sided mount tape and a 4lb hammer.....

A very heavy tool for the DIY-er's casual use (vinyl plank flooring). I wonder if a lighter weight pull bar would have worked. But I ordered this based on some YouTube videos. It will last forever but I am not a professional flooring installer so will not have occasion to use this again. However, all in all it is best for regular flooring installers who by the end of a day on hands and knees do not find it heavier as the hours wear on. This will last forever, is well-made, a bit ear-splitting when hit with a hammer but does the job it was made to do.

Yes it is definitely heavy duty! It won't straighten out when you belt it with a hammer even in a confined space. If your laying laminate flooring this is what you need.

Last floor tool you'll need to buy. Crappy big box stores one will break before you finish your floor this one will last a lifetime and not to bulky to fit in tight places.
