Used them all summer and no issues. I always worry about my canopy in any wind. Especially at night when there is a thunderstorm. With these it gives me peace of mind. I did worry about myself or children falling over them but I would try to put them out of the way depending on our site set up. I did buy pool noodles for them but didn't use them. Easy to apply.

Our electric RV awning is nice to have extended, but just a little breeze causes problems. This tie down kit works very well to hold the awning down. The subject line indicates the tie downs are part of the solution. I used supports under the awning, too, so the wind and rain won't push the awning down or up. I don't know how well these would stabilize the awning without the upward supports.

We got this product because we had a camper in past that the wind took our awning right off and nearly tipped our camper. It was a little hard to figure out how to assemble at first but we have now and it goes up pretty quickly. It came in quite handy on our last camping trip because we had some terrible winds!!

Tied down the awning braced it no complaints held in the wind excellent. Do you like the springs so your relieves a little bit of the tension so it’s not gonna be just rock solid. Subsequently has a little bit of give but prevent the awning from flying away.

Bonne retenue. Au Delaware avec les grand vents l’auvent se comporte comme si il y avait 30 km/h de moins. Les ressorts sont genial.Seul point négatifs les ancrages sont difficiles a installer si le sol est dure et compacte.

The product looks like it will be very good while camping and holding down awning when it gets very windy in the camp ground. The only thing maybe to have included is a strap that goes from the spiral in ground up to drum then right across the awning and down to the spiral on the other side in the ground..
