I have a custom built 6’x10’ utility trailer. The ramp/door/gate whatever you want to call it, has welded on extendable supports for driving small equipment into the bed and weighs 270lbs. It came from the factory with two of these springs already installed. For the first 4 years I had no problem lifting the ramp up to lock it in place. I’m older and not getting stronger so before I injured myself I wanted to add two more springs. Only place that had them was here on Amazon. I mounted these springs and am glad I did. They are strong enough to keep the ramp from touching the ground unless I step up on it. Then the ramp will rise about a foot off the ground when I step off. I’m totally fine with that.
