This one came unused as described. It has a simple effective design. I have tried it with the 1 pound canister and was very surprised how powerful this torch is - I had never used one of these. When they mention turbo mode they aren't kidding. You can control the power with the trigger valve. The only negative is using the lighting button. It worked after several tries but I foresee having to buy one of those spark lighters. Make sure you first open the gas knob all the way.

I'm cleaning new property it my grandfather property and he love plants so much there everywhere anyway this helps cleaning the property because of the weeds and stuff and it the best thing yo have for ground hornet lol but it works wonders

So far, so good. I've used this burner with the small camping canister of propane, as well as with a 20 lb cylinder. The larger tank seems to work better because it doesn't freeze up like the smaller canisters if your using it on larger areas. The trigger lighter option hasn't failed yet, and I've been using it for a few months quite frequently.

This thing is really fun to use. If you don't giggle the first time you dial the feed up all the way and then squeeze the trigger, I worry about you.This weed burner delivers on all its promises - most importantly a very, very powerful flame. My first use was to start a very damp brush fire that had been waiting for a rain to be safe to burn. After maybe 20 seconds of fire from this tool dumped into its center, everything was set. Due to the wet, I was honestly expecting to have to "touch up" the fire at least one more time, but it imparted enough heat for the fire to be self sustaining, which impressed me.The included hose seems high quality (and is exactly the same type that will feed a portable grill from a 20 lb propane tank, so nice to have around even when you're not using the weed burner). I also like that, in a pinch, I could run this off a small cylinder of propane or MAPP, though it would of course empty a small tank pretty quickly. And the piezo ignition works every time (and unlike on a grill, I don't really see it getting fouled over time).The only reason I knocked a star off is that there is a VERY faint smell of propane around the trigger valve when the system is pressurized with gas. However, I used leak test solution (and ultimately the shade tree method of a lighter) and could not localize an actual leak, so I'm not too worried. It's also so far from the business end of the tool that even a moderate leak would be near impossible to ignite accidentally.

Seems like a easy idea that would simplify weeding. But it actually takes a long time to cook a fresh weed... which uses a lot of propane. I was thinking about the environment when I purchased this but think hot water works just as effectively on the weeds that grow through my gravel driveway.

As Stated above ,i bought this item which looks good but i have recently told that it is an American Connector & will not fit a British Gas Connector/Bottle .The Product & all products related to the above should clearly state that it is an American Gas Torch & will not fit a British Propane Bottle & its too late to send it back so i have to adjust it by Hopefully Searching for a High Pressure Regulator which will fit a British Propane Connector .Unless you have any Bright Ideas that will solve this problem !
