I bought this weed torch June of 2023. It is,an inexpensive item, so I wasn’t sure what to expect other than it would work properly. It did work fine, until yesterday. I attempted to use it yesterday,weeds are popping up already. I did get it to light, for a few seconds, but,I could hear no propane was getting through,so the flame quickly died.I have no clue why,I put on a new bottle and no flame.I guess I got my 21 bux worth? It lasted 18 months.

I read most of the reviews on this item before I bought it so I had an idea of what I was getting. The package arrived on time and in good condition. As it says in the manual and others have mentioned, the spark wire needed to be repositioned in order for it to work correctly, but once that was done it worked quite well. It was just the right size for me and I took care of all of my weeds in the back and front yards in less than an hour. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the design of the sparker unit - the part that creates the spark is simply a wire that is bent so that it is about 1/8" from the nozzle. Unfortunately, since it is right next to the flame the insulation on the wire burned off within minutes and the spark simply jumped from the base of the wire to the edge of the metal shield around the flame port, meaning that it will never work again. It's not that big of a problem, more of an inconvenience - simply carry a small lighter in your pocket and you'll be all set.

The torch works great for about 10 minutes. Then it looses its intensity. Turning the knob doesn’t help. After the torch sits for about 40 minutes or so then I can use it for about another 10 minutes before it looses its intensity again. So works good for short and quick jobs but not for large areas. Also, next time I buy a torch I will need to get a longer one, this torch is a little short so I have to hunch over to get it close to the ground.

Good weed burner but takes longer to get then Amazon says.Product is good tool to have. As usual it took longer to arrive. We pay for 2 day delivery but never get it, lucky if it ships in 2 days.

After giving up on trying to grow a green front lawn, I decided to stone my small front yard. The Nutsage weed was nearly impossible to control. Even grew through weed barrier and a two inch layer of stone.This weed torch was the perfect solution to controlling the weeds. It is light weight and well balanced in my hand. Totally burns away the plants in only seconds. Totally gone!I use it about once a week to control any new growth. Now my yard always looks completely weed free and beautiful. No more digging or pulling weeds. It is so easy to use. It is now my favorite yard tool.

It works well, I use it to start the fire pit. I did do the weeds once but it seems to take a long time and the weeds just come back anyway.

Well made and comfortable to use. The ignitor works flawlessly. Make sure you e-mail a picture and order number to get an extra year warranty. I love that. (the e-mail address is on the package)

Just arrived. I adjusted the igniter as advised in the instructions, and works well. Did a few weeds in the patio tiles (I understand you don't need to turn them brown, just give them a few seconds to injure their structures). We'll see how it goes. I want to use this in my vegetable beds, and hope it saves the pulling and bending.

This product did not work out of the box. Due to a family death i forgot to return. Very disappointing.
